Participates in all procedures handled in IRA Dept, including review of IRA transactions, documents, outgoing trustee transfers, deceased depositor accounts, reports and required annual mailings for IRA accounts.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Reviews all transactions with accompanying documentation done to IRA accounts daily to ensure correctness for endofyear reporting. Ensures that documentation for all transactions is scanned into Onbase by branches. Makes file maintenance corrections to IRA accounts when necessary. Reviews monthly exception reports and make corrections to account history as necessary. Handles receipt, review and preparation of all deceased depositor distributions. Assists in handling of annual mailings to IRA customers. Answers telephone calls from branches with regard to IRA questions.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
High School Diploma or equivalent. Six months banking experience.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Good reading and communication skills are necessary. The ability to discern when a situation requires additional assistance from Bank's IRA Compliance advisors. Should stay up to date with all changes in laws and policies with regard to matters handled in the IRA area.
