JOB SUMMARY
The Property Inspection Coordinator is responsible for coordinating property inspections for existing and potential mortgage loans including multifamily, mixed use, commercial and construction loans. This includes the determination of assignment of a Loan Officer, Bank Inspector or Director (depending on loan amount) to conduct the property inspection; coordinating the mapping of location, distance and timing of inspection site meetings as well as any other required documentation necessary for determining adherence to the Bank's established underwriting policies and procedures. Also responsible for corresponding with brokers to request and confirm inspections and entering requisite information into the Bank's loan pipeline management system. Regular contact with internal departments and outside brokers required.


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Initiate and coordinate the property inspection process as required by Bank policy and procedures based on weekly loan approvals, as well as Loan Officer and broker requests for pre-closing property inspections for multifamily, mixed use, commercial real estate loans & construction loans/extensions: (a) Determine if a Bank Inspector, Loan Officer, or Director is required based on loan amount. (b) Coordinate daily inspection assignment routes taking into consideration the distance between each property to be scheduled. Involves scheduling inspections vial email and telephone communications with brokers/borrower contact to request & confirm inspection dates & times. (c) Coordinate transportation & pick up locations as needed. (d) Enter inspection information into the loan processing management system and interact with Bank personnel to coordinate payment for Director inspections. Ensure that the Bank Inspector, Loan Officer or Director completes, signs, and dates the Bank's standard inspection form. Ensure that completed inspection reports and accompanying documents are appropriately uploaded and saved in the electronic loan file. As needed, coordinate and verify the revision or correction of inspection reports (i.e., if loan amount changes). As needed, coordinate the communication of any special requirements including oil tanks (i.e., AST or UST). Performs special projects, and additional duties and responsibilities as required. Where applicable and when performing the responsibilities of the job, employees are accountable to maintain Sarbanes-Oxley compliance and adhere to internal control policies and procedures.


EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

High school diploma or equivalent. Minimum of two years' experience in the mortgage or property inspection industry.


KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

Working knowledge of real estate documentation. Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and other general computer related skills. Detail oriented with excellent customer service, organizational and communication skills. Good analytical skills & works well under pressure. Proficient at problem solving.
