JOB SUMMARY:

An Alternative Deposits Administrator Sr, works under limited supervision administering business institutional deposits, broker dealer wholesale transaction processing and institutional accounts including; deposits, withdrawals (via wire, ACH or check), closing and rollover of CD's. Reviews, records, reconciles and monitors daily transactions and CD activity at all complexity levels. Performs monthly processing and adjustments. Coordinates with accounting staff regarding broker dealer records. Maintains and updates files for the department. Duties and tasks are frequently non-routine.

 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Applies experience and subject matter expertise to processes daily broker dealer, business institutional and financial institutional transactions including deposits, withdrawals, wire transfers, closing and rollover of CD's at all levels of complexity. Monitors deposit reports to ensure transaction accuracy and identify exceptions. Resolves non routine questions and problems. Maintains high level of service of alternative deposit banking client relationships. Handles customer inquiries and resolves service issues in a timely fashion. Provides superior customer service. Performs monthly processing and adjustments. Maintains files, policies, procedures and updates records as needed. Coordinates with accounting staff in regards to broker dealer records. Performs special projects, and additional duties and responsibilities as required. Where applicable and when performing the responsibilities of the job, employees are accountable to maintain Sarbanes-Oxley compliance and adhere to internal control policies and procedures.

 

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

Associate's degree in business, accounting or finance preferred. Four (4) years of experience in banking/ financial services.

 

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

Good knowledge of banking policy and procedures. Good knowledge of regulatory requirements. Detail oriented. Computer literate with proficiency in internet navigation, word processing and spreadsheet applications. Excellent customer service and communication skills. Ability to work well under pressure and meet related deadlines and production goals. Ability to establish rapport with customers.
