Assists Trade Services Manager with scheduling staff to perform their duties necessary to install, operate, repair and maintain the heating, ventilating, air conditioning equipment and related electric or pneumatic control systems.
Coordinate maintenance program with respect to the installation, repair, adjustments, service and maintenance of electric or pneumatic control systems for heating, ventilation, and air conditioning equipment. Assist Trade Services unit staff as necessary in the performance of their duties. May be required to make emergency repairs at hours other than normally scheduled. Coordinate with other units of CRES when assistance is required. Maintain files and plans for all HVAC maintenance work. May direct helpers and other tradesmen in performance of duties. Performs special projects, and additional duties and responsibilities as required. Where applicable and when performing the responsibilities of the job, employees are accountable to main. Maintain Sarbanes-Oxley compliance and adhere to internal control policies and procedures.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Technical/trade school graduate, or equivalent apprenticeship. Ten years' experience in heating, air conditioning/refrigeration equipment. EPA certification preferred.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
Knowledgeable and skilled in the use of all tools, materials, methods and hazards of the trade. Knowledge of local and national fire underwriters' codes as applicable to work performed
Mechanical aptitude. Ability to read and work from blueprints and diagrams.
