JOB SUMMARY

A Corporate Project Management Analyst supports the Bank's Corporate Business Process Management Office operations through analysis, reporting, governance, project data collection, processes, procedures and tools.

 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Responsible for supporting and sustaining the Corporate Project Management Office (CPMO) reporting, tools, and related operational processes and procedures. Maintains required documentation supporting project processes in the appropriate project repositories. Documents the CPMO activities and maintains procedures for the department. Sets-up and maintains information in the Corporate Project System (i.e. PPM) such as schedules, project roles and status information. Responsible for the review of the project phase completion in the Corporate Project System (i.e. PPM). Analyzes project data to achieve CPMO reporting objectives. Generates project-level metrics to be included in project status reporting. Manages the risk reporting and issues escalations processes and documentation. Tracks project level risks, issues, scope, and schedule changes. Performs budget monitoring and coordinates with Financial Services and the Office of Budgetary Oversight for tracking of expenses for all projects in portfolio. Responsible for the monitoring of projects not defined as *Corporate Projects.* Assist BPOs in the development of departmental project management procedures and project plans. Maintains a high level of customer service and professionalism in frequent interfaces with bank staff of all levels. Performs special projects, and additional duties and responsibilities as required. Where applicable and when performing the responsibilities of the job, employees are accountable to maintain Sarbanes-Oxley compliance and adhere to internal control policies and procedures.

 

Education and experience

Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance or related equivalent. Three to five years' experience in business analysis or project management capacity. PMP or other project management certification preferred.

 

Knowledge, skills and abilities

Knowledge of project management practices and processes. Knowledge of financial industry and related products. Computer literate with advanced proficiency in Microsoft Access and Excel. Excellent problem solving and analytical skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills; good negotiation skills. Excellent presentation skills. Detail oriented. Exercises sound judgment. Ability to grasp new concepts and ideas quickly. Ability to manage and prioritize multiple work assignments. Ability to maintain confidentiality. Ability to work well independently and with others.
