Responsible for the development and performance of all sales activities in his/her assigned region. Staffs and directs a sales team and provides leadership towards the achievement of revenue/performance goals in a compliant environment. Establishes business plans and strategies to expand the customer base in the branches and contributes to the development of product and sales training for licensed and non-licensed bankers.



Develops and implements a business plan and sales strategy for the assigned region to ensure attainment of revenue goals. Responsible for the performance and development of the Dedicated Financial Consultants to ensure that they meet or exceed all activity standards for prospecting calls, appointments, presentations, proposals and closes. Works with Licensed Bank Employees (LBEs) in the sales and promotion of non-deposit investment products (i.e., coaching, product/operations training, sales activities). Builds and maintains strong branch partnerships with consistent communication and effective guidance on activities to meet investment revenue goals. Assists in the development and implementation of program marketing plans/product launches as needed. Travels to branches to meet with Dedicated Representatives and LBEs in order to maintain effective communications, increase understanding of products and customer needs, and to provide insight for the improvement of sales and activity performance. Provides timely feedback to senior management regarding region performance. Recruits experienced Dedicated Financial Consultants to fill open positions based on region/branch needs. Performs special projects, and additional duties and responsibilities as required. Where applicable and when performing the responsibilities of the job, employees are accountable to maintain Sarbanes-Oxley compliance and adhere to internal control policies and procedures.



Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college preferred. Minimum five (5) years investment experience in a banking environment. Minimum two (2) years sales management experience preferred. Must maintain active licenses and FINRA registrations: Life Insurance License applicable to assigned branch locations, Series 7, Series 24, Series 63 (if state applicable), and Series 65 or 66.



Thorough knowledge of investment/insurance products and financial planning. Computer literate with proficiency in Microsoft Office product suite, including Power Point and applications specific to the Bank and/or the Broker Dealer. Strong sales and closing skills. Excellent activity/project coordination and organizational skills. Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills. Strong analysis with attention to detail. Strong management/leadership skills. Ability to travel within assigned geographic region. Ability to lead and mentor Licensed Bank Employees. Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and meet established deadlines. Ability to maintain confidentiality.
