The OFAC Deputy Manager assists the OFAC Manager in managing the daily operations of the OFAC section of the BSA Department. Conducts 314(a) searches.



Conducts research and advises the OFAC Manager on questions of compliance with OFAC regulations.{Conducts 314(a) searches.{Enhances, develops, implements and maintains OFAC operating procedures.{Assists the OFAC Manager in oversight over team and, from time to time, makes critical decisions on the OFAC Manager's behalf consistent with guidance from the OFAC Manager.


Performs special projects, and additional duties and responsibilities as required. Where applicable and when performing the responsibilities of the job, employees are accountable to maintain Sarbanes-Oxley compliance and adhere to internal control policies and procedures.



Bachelor's degree in business or related field. Experience researching OFAC matters and drafting memoranda advising management. Minimum of five (5) years of OFAC experience. Experience in banking or financial services.



Knowledge of OFAC regulations. Ability to interact effectively with all levels of management, legal counsel, law enforcement, regulators and examiners while maintaining strict confidentiality. Strong decision making, analytical and investigative abilities with attention to detail and accuracy.{Excellent communication and time management skills.{PC proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and Internet research techniques.
