Assist in managing the EGIFTS Queue Monitor. Ensure all wire requests are properly verified and released for the Bank. Resolves OFAC issues in conjunction with the NYCB BSA Department. Ensures the processing of all SWIFT messages on a daily basis as well as ensures the SWIFT Link is monitored within the EGIFTS system. Assists Department Management when needed for System Testing and Contingency Testing.


Ensure that the daily Start-of-Day, and connectivity with the Federal Reserve is completed successfully. Verify all outgoing and incoming wire transfer requests for customers and NYCB departments. Verify and release service messages to and from other financial institutions. Release payments from the Funds Control Queue, upon receipt of proper authorization. Review wire logs to ensure daily totals prove to FRB reports. Oversee the handling of any payments flagged by the OFAC filter in the E-Gift system. Refers questionable items to the BSA department. Researches items as requested by BSA, Security and other departments. Works with the BSA department to resolve any OFAC issues. Monitors the Fraud Queue for Wire Payments and ensures proper follow up and authorization occurs before releasing payments. Ensure proper daily disconnection from the Federal Reserve, and End-of-Day processing completed successfully, including the End of Day Proof. Manage the Daily Wire Transfer Volume spreadsheet to ensure proper updates. Process all incoming and outgoing SWIFT messages. Ensure all SWIFT messages received are routed to the correct corresponding NYCB Department. Ensure all MT950 Statements are generated and transmitted successfully daily. Record SWIFT volumes daily. Assist in testing all SWIFT system enhancements when needed. Performs special projects, and additional duties and responsibilities as required. Where applicable and when performing the responsibilities of the job, employees are accountable to maintain Sarbanes-Oxley compliance and adhere to internal control policies and procedures.


Associate's Degree. Five years prior banking experience in wire transfers, processing FED and SWIFT payments


Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word. Ability to use the Internet search. Good written and verbal communications skills. Ability to interface with all levels of management
