Gains knowledge and proficiency in all requirements and responsibilities of a Commercial & Industrial (C&I) Lending Officer. Adheres to all policies and procedures of the Bank and all regulatory and compliance mandates. 


Order, analyze, and interpret credit reports, personal and corporate tax returns, credit investigations, trade, CPA, legal checks, UCC searches, World/OFAC checks, etc. Reads/reviews Credit Policy Manual to gain knowledge and familiarity of terminology associated with Commercial & Industrial lending and gains understanding of the requirements and protection afforded by required loan documentation. Gain proficiency in Financial Statement Spreading. Writes comprehensive credit analysis citing supporting fact patterns, conclusion and recommendation. Determine loan purpose, collateral, valuation, sources or repayment including cash flow, ability to service debt and terms and conditions. Understands and interprets ratio analysis and trend analysis. Evaluates Owners and Managers background, capabilities, and experience.


Bachelor's degree required in Business Administration, Economics or Finance, Master's preferred. Prior work experience in sales, banking, financial services helpful, but not required.


Ability to learn and retain credit principles. Strong written and verbal presentation skills. Working knowledge of MSOffice, particularly Excel, Word, & Outlook.
